b) The form must be completed by either the property owner or an authorized individual with written consent from the property owner.
i. See Section 5 for details on written consent

5. Authorization and Written Consent

Note: If the property owner schedules the appointment directly, written consent is not required.

To ensure legal access to the property and protect all parties involved, Snyder Real Estate Media (SREM) requires written authorization from the property owner only when someone else — such as a real estate agent, property manager, family member, or tenant — is scheduling services on their behalf.

This policy ensures our team is legally authorized to access and photograph the property, protecting both the property owner and the requesting party.

Note: If the property owner schedules the appointment directly, written consent is not required.

a) Authorization Requirement

If someone other than the property owner is scheduling an appointment, the owner must provide written authorization granting that individual permission to act on their behalf.

b) Required Information for Written Consent

The written consent must include the following:

ii. Property address
iii. Full name of the authorized representative
iv. Property owner’s phone number (for verification purposes)

c) Representative’s Authorized Actions

The written consent must authorize the representative to:
i. Schedule real estate videography services at the specified property
ii. Complete and sign the Pre-Service Questionnaire on the owner’s behalf
iii. Submit payment on the owner’s behalf (if applicable)
iv. Include the property owner’s signature (if handwritten)
v. Include the date of authorization

d) Property Owner Media Rights Declaration (Required)

The property owner must include a statement in the written consent indicating whether they do or do not grant SREM permission to retain copyright ownership and use non-identifying photographs or videos of the property for future marketing, portfolio, educational, or promotional purposes. This selection can also be indicated on the Pre-Service Questionnaire.

Property owners who do not wish SREM to use their media for these purposes may request a formal Media Rights Release Form, which, once signed, will forfeit all SREM usage rights to the media.

e) Example of Valid Written Consent

I, [Property Owner Name], the legal owner of the property located at [Street, City, State, Zip], hereby authorize [Authorized Individual] to schedule real estate videography services with Snyder Real Estate Media (SREM) for the above-mentioned property. This individual is also authorized to complete the Pre-Service Questionnaire and submit payment on my behalf, if applicable.
